"SAILING TRIP CYPRUS 2007"
Hello Yildiz Yachting follower,
We are pleased to inform you about a new activity organised by Yildiz Yachting , namely a sailing trip from Fethiye in Turkey to Girne on the Northern part of Cyprus. This is the first time this special trip to Cyprus has been organised, and the event will take place from 21st to 28th April and from 28th April to 5th May.
A flotilla consisting of several sailing yachts, will start in Fethiye, Turkey and head for Girne on the Northern part of Cyprus, and back.
However, it’s also possible to join a one way trip from Fethiye, Turkey to Girne, Northern Cyprus or vice-versa. And last but not least, there is also the possibility to join a crewed charter on one or more of the sailing yachts.
We will stay on Cyprus for 2 or 3 days so you can enjoy this magnificent island. If you choose to join a one way trip, depending on which you sail, you can do this at the start or end of your holiday.
1. Sailing trip from 21st April until 5th May (duration 2 weeks)
This sailing holiday starts in Fethiye, Turkey and will take you, along the Turkish coast, to Finike, Turkey (ca 3 days, 80 nm), from where we will cross over to Girne/Kyrenia (ca 150 nm). From there we will have two alternatives; sailing along the coast of Northern Cyprus or exploring the beautiful countryside. This will depend on the time that’s left.
After our stay on Northern Cyprus we will sail back on 28th April
2. One way sailing trip from 21st of April (duration 1 week )
This sailing holiday starts in Fethiye, Turkey and will bring you, along the Turkish coast, to Finike, Turkey (ca 3 days, 80 nm), from where we will cross over to Girne/Kyrenia (ca 150 nm). After this trip you can enjoy beautiful Cyprus.
3. One way sailing trip from 28th of April (duration 1 week)
Before joining this sailing route, we advise you to stay a couple of days on the Northern part of Cyprus to enjoy the fantastic countryside. The sailing trip starts on 28th April and sails in the direction of Finike, Turkey. From there we will head for Fethiye, Turkey and sail along the Turkish coast.
By air to Fethiye, Turkey
Fly to Dalaman. The journey from Dalaman to your yacht in Fethiye Ece Marina takes about 50 minutes by road.
By air to Girne, Northern Cyprus
