Sun, wind and sea in a wonderful sailing area. The lush vegetation of the coastline with the sparkling deep blue sea, just goes to show the word nature still means something here. Near many anchorages you will find ancient ruins and cities, reflecting the very colourful history of this region.
Starting point of our sailing trips is Athene, a busy port, but as soon as you leave the port, you will enjoy the beautiful sea and the sailing. At the end of each day will moor in beautifull villages where you can enjoy the delicious food and drinks in one of the many nice restaurants.
The prevailing wind starts late in the morning and stops at sundown. The windforce is moderate, usually up to wind force 3 to 4.
Travelling to Athene you will normally do by air. If you wish, we can take care of the transfer from the airport to the marina.

Radar, GPS, VHF, autopilot, dinghy, many sails, sunawning, deckshower, CD- and cassetteplayer.
The crew/owners Petra and Detlef, born in 1957 and 1956 are sailing since 1990 on board their EXCALIBUR and also know the best restaurants and the most beautiful bays. Their cat Crna is part of the crew.
4 guests: 2 single berth or 1 double in the forward cabin, toilet and washbasin. Salon: 2 single berth, chart table and galley. What to bring: All you need is a duffel bag with some clothes, boatshoes, towels, sunlotion, sunglasses, sheets or a thin sleepingbag and for a cool evening a pullover.

| Note: Homeport of EXCALIBUR is the Marina Hramina in Athens. Our guests will be picked up from the airport by the skipper himself. Transfers, drinks on board and in restaurants and entrance fees to the national parks are to be paid extra. The ships cash at Euro 180,- p.p.p.w. is for food on board and in restaurants and for diesel, harbour dues, water, gas etc. |
